Fiera del Levante is one of the most important trade fair events in southern Italy and takes place every year in Bari, the capital of the Puglia region.
Founded in 1929, the Fair has become a point of reference for the economy and culture not only locally, but also nationally and internationally. Fiera del Levante 2024 has reached its 87th edition. This year's edition is characterized by the theme "Beyond borders, where the East meets the West", which reflects the desire to explore new cultural and commercial frontiers.
Why visit the fair
The Fiera del Levante is a multifaceted event that hosts exhibitors and visitors from various sectors. Traditionally, it is known for being a trade fair, with pavilions dedicated to technological innovation, craftsmanship, agriculture, furniture, fashion, and much more.
However, over the years, it has expanded its offering to include cultural events, shows, conventions and conferences on current affairs.
It is a meeting place for entrepreneurs, professionals and the general public, interested in discovering new trends, doing business or simply enjoying a day of leisure among the various stands and attractions.
The Fair is an opportunity to learn about the excellence of Made in Italy, but also to explore products and services of international companies.
Where takes place Fiera del Levante
The Fiera del Levante takes place at the Bari exhibition center, located in the Marconi area, near the seafront. The exact address is: Viale Vittorio Emanuele Orlando, 70132 Bari BA, Italy.
When does Fiera del Levante take place
Usually, the Fiera del Levante is held in September.
The Fiera del Levante 2024 will be held in Bari from September 28 to October 6. For this year, the opening of the Fair has been postponed compared to the usual period of early September, to avoid the intense heat that often characterizes that season.
The event will take place from 10:30 to 20:30 every day, with an extension until midnight on the occasion of special events.
Cost of entrance ticket at Fiera del Levante
The cost of the ticket to visit the Campionaria Internazionale will be purchasable online at €2.50. This choice was made to encourage the use of new digital tools to reduce environmental impact and paper waste.
It will still be possible to purchase the ticket from the Fiera del Levante box offices at a cost of €5.
How to get to Fiera del Levante
There are several ways to get to the Fiera del Levante:
By car: From the north, you can arrive via the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway, exiting at Bari Nord and following the signs for the fairgrounds.
From the south, follow the A14 motorway and exit at Bari Sud, then follow the signs for the Fairgrounds.
By train: From Bari Central Station, you can take a bus or taxi to the fairgrounds. The city bus line 20 connects the station directly to the Fairgrounds.
By plane: From Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport, you can take a taxi or bus to the city centre and then another means of transport to reach the Fairgrounds.
Where to park to Fiera del Levante
Official Fair Parking: The Fiera del Levante has official parking lots located directly next to the exhibition pavilions. These parking lots are monitored and paid, offering a certain convenience given the proximity to the main entrance. It is advisable to arrive early, especially on busy days, to secure a spot.
Parking in the Neighboring Streets: In the immediate vicinity of the Fair, along the streets of the Marconi neighborhood and other neighboring areas, there are additional parking options. However, in these areas you are more likely to find paid parking (blue lines) or free parking, although they may be more difficult to find during the days of the fair.
Private Parking and Garages: In the vicinity of the Fair there are also private garages and guarded parking lots, which offer greater security, but at a generally higher cost than parking on the street.
Public Transport and Park & Ride: A valid alternative to parking near the Fair is to use public transport.
There are several bus lines that connect the Fair with the center of Bari and other areas of the city, reducing the need to look for parking.
In addition, there are "Park & Ride" services in the peripheral areas of the city, which allow you to park at reduced rates and then take a bus or shuttle to reach the Fair.
By using the “Pane e Pomodoro” and “Vittorio Veneto” parking areas (both seaside and landside), it will be possible to take the shuttle buses directly to the fair.
